[Review] Victoria Aveyard - Red Queen (Red Queen Series #1)

Gambar
Happy Monday, everybody. Hahaha I shouldn't say that because I know how (almost) everyone hate Monday. Today, I come up with Red Queen's review because I've finished reading them but had no chance to write it a review. I read this series just like Caraval before, read it during the pandemi in my college. Okay fellas, here's my review... Title :   Red Queen (Red Queen #1) Author :  Victora Aveyard ISBN :  0062310631 Genre :  Adventure, Fantasy, Romance Rating :  5/5 stars This is a world divided by blood—red or silver. The Reds are commoners, ruled by a Silver elite in possession of god-like superpowers. And to Mare Barrow, a seventeen-year-old Red girl from the poverty-stricken Stilts, it seems like nothing will ever change. That is until she finds herself working in the Silver Palace. Here, surrounded by the people she hates the most, Mare discovers that, despite her red blood, she possesses a deadly power of her own. One that threatens to destroy the balance o...

Apologize !!

Hello guys, how's life going? I'm sorry I never published any posts in the last three years. Like I said in some of my reviews, I was going to college and it wouldn't allow me to bring any smartphone and it was so hard for me. I also didn't have so much spare time to read and review novels again because I need to focus on my college. I bring a happy new to you too. I've graduated now so I will have many spare times to updated this blog (FYI, my graduation was held July 29th) and yes, I'll start to gather novels again. I've been so late to watch any trending novels and it made me so sad. I'll have to catch up very fast with this and I hope you'll support me in the future. I have so much to tell you but right now, I guess that's all from me. Please stay tune for another feeds from my. Thank you so much. Love, Phaxire.

[Review] Stephanie Garber - Caraval (Caraval Series #1)

Gambar
Hello guys, I'm back! I'm so sorry for disappearing for almost two years. I got into college and it's super busy every day. I got no time to open my blog and only open my Instagram account to update a few things. But don't worry, hard times are over and I've graduated so I will so much time to fill this blog by reviews. This caraval book was read during the quarantine time on campus. You won't believe me but I read this while I'm making my final report. The final report is so confusing that's why I need some distractions to refresh my brain. Caraval is a good book, I do love how Stephanie wrote everything down to detail. It's like I was inside the book, watching the characters playing and feel the emotion that rise up between them. Well, I must not say it much here, so here comes my review... Title :   Caraval (Caraval Series #1) Author :  Stephanie Garber ISBN :  1250095255 Genre :  Adventure, Fantasy, Romance Rating :  4/5 stars Scarlett Dragna has...

[Review] Jenny Han - The Summer I Turned Pretty (Summer #1)

Gambar
First of all, forgive me for being disappear almost a year. I got in to a college year and my schedule is so tight. I barely got enough sleep lately. I, temporarily, will leave this world until I got spare time again to read and write another review. Second, you guys know how I adore covers so much, right? If you guess I bought this buy because the cover is pretty, you're absolutely right! This is another book from Jenny Han. It has three books in the series and this is the first book. I found them (book one and book two) in a random book festival I visited in my friend's city. It looked so cute with the white covers that's why I took them and brought them home with me. Third, let's review this first book... Title :   The Summer I Turned Pretty (Summer #1) Author :  Jenny Han ISBN :  1416968237 Genre :  Young Adult, Romance, Fiction, High School Rating :  3/5 stars Belly measures her life in summers. Everything good, everything magical happens between ...

[Review] Marissa Meyer - Scarlet (The Lunar Chronicles #2)

Gambar
Okay, I'm doing a marathon reading for just one night. I've finished Cinder yesterday, made a review and today, I read Scarlet and right now, I'm making review on it. A day a book. I think I have to make a #readeveryday so I can share this marathon read to everybody of you. Without any further do, let's review this... Title :   Scarlet (The Lunar Chronicles #2) Author :  Marissa Meyer ISBN :   9780312642969 Genre :  Young Adult, Romance, Fiction, Fantasy Rating :  4/5 stars Cinder, the cyborg mechanic, returns in the second thrilling installment of the bestselling Lunar Chronicles. She’s trying to break out of prison—even though if she succeeds, she’ll be the Commonwealth’s most wanted fugitive. Halfway around the world, Scarlet Benoit’s grandmother is missing. When Scarlet encounters Wolf, a street fighter who may have information as to her grandmother’s whereabouts, she is loath to trust this stranger, but is inexplicably drawn to him, and he to her. As Scarle...

[Review] Marissa Meyer - Cinder (The Lunar Chronicles #1)

Gambar
I do love fairytales. How about you guys?  Lunar Chronicles tells us about a character in fairytale but in a different way. This is more modern and the stuggles are a lot harder than the classic fairytale we all knew. When I read the title, it reminds me of Cinderella with her blue shoes. But this Cinderella was in red shoes (and that's better cause I like red, hahaha) This Cinderella is epic! Title :   Cinder (The Lunar Chronicles #1) Author :  Marissa Meyer ISBN :  9780312641894 Genre :  Young Adult, Romance, Fiction, Fantasy Rating :  4/5 stars Sixteen-year-old Cinder is considered a technological mistake by most of society and a burden by her stepmother. Being cyborg does have its benefits, though: Cinder's brain interference has given her an uncanny ability to fix things (robots, hovers, her own malfunctioning parts), making her the best mechanic in New Beijing. This reputation brings Prince Kai himself to her weekly market booth, needing her to repair...

[Review] Lisa N Edwards - Chasing Butterflies (Can't Fight Fate #2)

Gambar
It took me long enough to read the next book of #CantFightFate by Lisa N Edwards. I finished reading it yesterday, 14th June, but I couldn't find any spare time to make a review about it and so I'm doing it right now before I started to read a new book. Enjoy everybody! Title : Chasing Butterflies (Can't Fight Fate #2) Author : Lisa N Edwards. ISBN : 0646945637 Genre : Young Adult, Contemporary, Romance, Fiction Rating : 3/5 stars Life can change in the blink of an eye! Chasing Butterflies picks up where Can't Fight Fate leaves us, with Nikki searching for her elusive green-eyed man and her best friend Siobhan, heading for the biggest mistake of her life.  HAS NIKKI FOUND HIM? ONLY TIME CAN TELL! Only 2% of the population has green eyes... Pure green eyes. It seems the odds are already stacked against Nikki finding her man. Nikki is an intelligent and articulate Entertainment Lawyer, she’s not crazy but she still believes this predestined man exists. The green ...
